"I was very young, but I remember vividly going with my father to the back lot tank at 20th Century Fox and watching the filming of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Seeing big stars like James Mason and Kirk Douglas in a Jules Verne fantasy was pure magic. I'll never forget those days."
— Harrison Ellenshaw
In this painting the submarine Nautilus has surfaced just off the coast of Captain Nemo's secret base, the island of Vulcania. But there is a fleet of enemy warships waiting and, knowing that he has been betrayed, Nemo must submerge the submarine, go through an intricate underwater tunnel and find a way to destroy the island before his secrets are revealed to the world.
